Thinh uses AI to expand his collection of references and discover materials to work with. He compares it to Spotify: sometimes it introduces something new. Other times, it repeats the same old things. What he creates from these discoveries remains his own, including the creative thinking and final decisions. He asks who benefits from a piece of work and whether they enjoy it. For him, AI’s environmental footprint brings an hourglass to mind, reminding him that time and resources are running out while prompting him to consider how he might use AI to benefit others. Thinh wants AI to understand his ever-evolving identity.
