Mike uses AI platforms and tools to explore ideas, develop prototypes and experiment with visual concepts while they are still evolving. AI has become an integral part of his creative process, with different tools supporting different stages of exploration and production. His work often combines AI-driven techniques with analogue, handcrafted approaches. Rather than allowing technology to dictate the outcome, he selects the tools and methods that best serve his creative vision and bring his ideas to life. For him, a piece becomes meaningful when it leaves a lasting impression, something compelling enough to share and talk about. Even with greater transparency around AI’s environmental impact, he believes he would continue to use it, but with greater awareness. Ultimately, what he wishes AI could understand better is not just what he wants to create, but how he thinks.
