“I’m trying to steer, but it feels very wobbly.”
Behruz Tschaitschian / Creative
Experimenting with AI makes Behruz feel like an inventor, free to follow ideas without knowing where they might lead. Steering it feels less certain, like looking out from inside his own brain through a wobbling mass of jelly. When cost is not a concern, he would rather collaborate with illustrators, photographers and other artists. He misses the human connection that comes from developing work together. Behruz would delegate bureaucracy and repetitive tasks to AI but retain creative control, discussing suggestions with other people. Although he worries about becoming dependent on AI, he imagines the next level as a tool capable of understanding the images in his head.
